Press Release Spring 2024
Press Release Spring 2024
2023 came to a close following two very successful, sold out Christmas Concerts in the beautiful Boys’ Chapel, Clongowes Wood College. Tickets were in high demand this year and sold out weeks before the performances.
Our Concerts featured some talented and soloists from within all sections of the choir and this format proved popular with our audiences. We are extremely grateful to those who travelled to listen, and to the friends of Millicent Singers for their continued support.
Returning to rehearsals in January brings plans for the upcoming season including Summer Concerts and competition preparation. We have decided to focus our attention on the esteemed Derry Choral Festival taking place in October 2024. Preparation is well under way with choir members working towards pieces being ‘off sheet’ in the first few weeks of January.
Tickets for our Summer Concert, on the 18th May in Clongowes Boys’ Chapel are on sale and can be purchased through the Eventbrite link below. https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/millicent-singers-summer-concert-tickets-809251060707
We are very much looking forwards to ending this season on a high!
