Press Release Autumn 2023

Press Release Autumn 2023

We are delighted to be back at rehearsals since the 28^th August in preparation for the much anticipated launch of our CD ‘Millicent Melodies’ on the 2^nd September 2023.

Launching in the Westgrove Hotel Clane, the choir welcomed local representatives, past choir members, family and friends for an afternoon of music and refreshments. We performed three pieces from the CD giving a little taste of the musical selection recorded.

We are grateful to those who came along to support us and to the various musicians, sounds engineers, and musical experts who contributed towards the CD. Special thanks to Caroline, our accompanist and Alan, our musical director for leading us in the creation of something we are all really proud of.

We have welcomed 4 new members this season and are delighted to have them working with us.

Preparations are underway on new and challenging pieces for the upcoming competition season.

We are delighted to announce that our Christmas Concerts will be held on the 8^th/9^th December in the Boys’ Chapel, Clongowes Wood College, Clane. Tickets will be available shortly.
