Press Release Spring 2025
Press Release Spring 2025
It has been a busy start to 2025 with the choir preparing for a number of upcoming events. We have been delighted to welcome a number of new members across all sections of the choir and look forward to enriching our sound with their voices.
The choir completed an interesting vocal workshop with Kevin O’Carroll, who spent time listening to sections and placing members voices from light to dark. The change in the overall tone and richness of the choir is remarkable.
Our annual table Quiz is upcoming on the 7th March, and is always an event enjoyed by the choir and extended friends of Millicent Singers.
The choir are currently busy preparing to attend the Cork Choral Festival on the 4th May, and will participate two competitions on the day. Having recently competed in Derry, we are looking forward to another opportunity to showcase our new repertoire again. In addition to this, the choir has set the day for our Summer Concert, taking place in Clongowes on Sunday the 8th June.
The summer concert is our final event for this season and is a culmination of the work and dedication put into the choir by Alan, Caroline, Maureen and all choir members. We look forward to seeing you there.
